A long history of giving back

Volunteerism has been our way of life for almost 30 years! We started volunteering for the March of Dimes in 1989, shortly after our second daughter was born, by chairing a Walk America event in Quincy, MA. Since then, we have chaired or sat on the committees for over a dozen "Walks," chaired three Signature Chef's Auctions, and volunteered in some capacity for over forty more!

In 2011, we were elected to the President's Council for The Make a Wish Foundation of Southern Florida. We volunteered to chair the Walk for Wishes event and took it from raising $15,000 to over $100,000 in just three short years.

Our volunteer life has not only been incredibly rewarding for us but has also inspired our daughters, Megan and Carly. Megan works for a private family foundation focused on educational equity in Washington, DC and Carly works for a New York City based non-profit that supports socially responsible entrepreneurs to create global impact.

"Our rewards in life are a direct result of our contributions"

In 1972, I met my wife, Barb, in our hometown of Westfield, MA. We married in 1974 and had two beautiful daughters. We relocated to Florida in 1995 and started our homewatch and residential cleaning business, CloseWatch Services. We built it to be one of the top businesses of it's kind in southwest Florida and it continues today, serving over seventy-five upscale clients. Our mission statement is "our rewards in life are a direct result of our contributions; therefore, our success is dependent upon unequaled customer service and giving back to the community." We practice what we preach!

Attention Fishing Tournaments!

I am an avid fisherman. I grew up trout fishing in the lakes, rivers, and streams of Western Massachusetts. Upon moving to Florida, I discovered the excitement of bass fishing and fishing the back waters and beaches for snook and red fish.

If your fishing tournament has a live auction fundraiser, I would LOVE to talk to you! I understand the commitment and passion that goes into becoming a skilled angler.
